The Comm Logs were located next to registers at various locations throughout the bookstore, Titan Shops, at CSUF.
There were four known Comm Logs.
The Yum – by far the largest of the four. It seems like there may have been other iterations of the Comm Log since the first page we have available begins mid-conversation. There may have been some in the beginning of the binder that were lost, or another binder entirely before this one. Eventually the older Comm Log became very full and a “Vol 2” and “Vol 3” were made. Vol 3 just had all of Vol 2 put into it because the binder got broken. It is possible that some pages were lost in the middle, but the Yum binder was always treated with a lot of respect and kept in safe places.
The Brief – Over the years, the pages began to come loose and the binder was not big enough to hold all of pages. The pages began to fly around and eventually a large group of them were put into a plastic folder. However, it is possible a small percentage (at most 5 to 10%) were thrown away or lost.
Hungry Titan – probably thrown away when the location was closed. Was not nearly as popular as the others, but still had a lot of journal-type posts. About half of it had a lot of word search/crossword games made by other cashiers. It was at most 100 pages long.
Customer Service – lost or thrown away less than a year after it was made. Was the least popular of all four. Was at most 50 pages long, and most of them actually pertained to work, which was actually the original purpose of the Comm Log.
